So here it is. Another blog, with yet another stardoll fan :]
But yet we wabble on about stardoll but 1 out of the 3 creators of this blog (the 1 person being me) dont have any money.
I am going to own up and say that i look at these clothes which we report to you but i do not buy them.
My question is what happens to the people who aren't a superstar and dont have any money?
well i am guessing this but i think that it is outragous to demand that amount of money to buy virtual clothes and a virtual apparment. I love stardoll as much as the next person but dont you think it is a bit compulsive.
I have tried being a superstar and i agree, it is fun, but you have to have money. I dont know how many times i have txted them for more money. But everything evloves round money.
the state ment that says "money cant buy you happiness" ... so untrue in stardoll.
Surely instead of txting in for a superstar account and getting money, you should sit in your bed eating chocolate txting really cute boys say stupid things. Its much more fun and it makes you feel better about yourself unnlike stardoll.
Stardoll, i love you as much as my other pigeons but please, lower the costs. Its hard to keep up.
Stardoll is our cling on, like war games are boys cling on.
We should just become boys it makes things a lot easier.

Hello there my lovely Stardollarians. It's Meganp969 with yet another blog. Due to loads of updates on Stardoll, and none of my fellow Pigeons have posted a blog/review, I thought I'd update you to let you know that we haven't vanished off the face of the interweb.

There's a cute 'Adopt me' campaign on Stardoll to help raise awareness about Endangered Species. Every month, Stardoll will have a cute Endangered animal for you to adopt and take home to your suite. This month - the first month of the cycle - is a Gorilla; which you can adopt and it'll apear in your suite. To check it out, click here. To learn more about real Gorillas, click here.

Also, Stardoll have launched six spanking brand new hairstyles! But, knowing Stardoll; there's always a catch. The six - dare I say lovely - new hairstyles are only for Superstars! So many people are upset by it, but give it a month and non-superstars will soon be able to get them. You can view them in your 'Style MeDoll' section.
Lets all cheer! All of the January Hot Buys are out, and might I add; I just love the pink cardigan. If you're a Superstar, make sure you buy them because they are a must!

New Play & Earn

Stardoll have kinda brought back the one Stardollar a day, but you have to Earn it by Play & Earn. Now you can earn up to 50 Stardollars a months due to Play & Earn. But, you can still only earn 5 Stardollars a day, and one of that Stardollar goes away as your one Stardollar a day! So to by honest, nothing has really changed.

Moodi Wear

Currently on Stardoll there has been a MoodiBar on the top of your presentation which you can select a mood for each day. Plus, people of Stardoll have entered a 'Moodi Wear' competition in which they have to design a fashionable frock to match the emotion the Moodi creators have come up with. This mood changes each week. (This week, its anger.)

Recently they have created a club which is joinable both superstars and non-superstars, consiquently they give out FREE mannequins which you can rest the outfit of your choice, supposedly to make sure that what your wearing looks alright.

Therefore i am going to do about bags, bags are the simplest form of fashion, you would have thought.

Hambags. Is this some sort of famous ham carved into a bag?, i do not understand, why call it a HAMbag. Surely it should be called, a suitable and in preportion bag.

I think that there are so many ridiculous names for a bag you should start calling it whatever you like. like BAGPIPE. I think you will find in the name some sort of scottish culture.

Joke time is over. I am only good at jokes. Crap at fashion (not like Megan) crap at maths (not like Lucy).

New Decade of the Teens

Just a quick update to tell all you Stardoll fans that happen to be following our blog that a new range of 'Decade of the Teens' has appeared in the Starplaza. Click here to go and check it out.

I'm personally not that keen on the 'Decade of the Teens' collection, and there is few things I like about it- but that's just my closed minded opinion.

I recommend you head down to Stardoll because there's alot of updates going on. I beleive there is something called 'Fawx Paws' but I don't want to hog all the reviews to myself now do I? I must leave my loyal pigeons something to update and post about.

Smokey eyes & YouTube.

To our dearest fans will be happy to know that I, Meganp969, have created a YouTube account for our blog! On the YouTube channel, we post designs and make-up tutorials for all you Stardollians to watch and make your MeDoll look stunning. You can visit our Channel here, where I've posted the first video. I've got some dreaded homework to be doing, so my post is not as focused as normal.

The first video is all about how to do brown smokey eyes, which has been appearing on the Red Carpet and the Catwalk loads because fashion has taken a turn and turned Goth.

I used, black lengthening mascara and only one colour eye shadow which was just a plain brown. I used the natural colourings you can get when you edit you MeDoll's face to put some colour/blusher on the cheeks. Take a look and tell me what you think.

From my recent studies i have found out that the dress is not everything, nor the make up.


In this blog i am going to talk about the gladiator high heels which i absolutely adore.





Is it so that every website i look at which give views on these shoes are written by an american. Not being patriotic but is it so that america have upped their game?


My answer; Barack Obama. Clever old chap.


Furthermore, I on the other hand are english!

Gladiator shoes, they seem to be everywhere. But why. Are they so vital now, just to have a pair?


When looking at the shoes on vogue I only see gladiator shoes which are very strappy. more Thick than thin straps I would say.


Concluded that without knowing we are on the verge of chucking out thin straps and goning off with thick maybe to to give a more big, bold bright and beautiful look (which our art teacher would say)

Gladiator shoes were brought back from the ancient romans. They were open- toed shoes which would be leather and worn by gladiators, hense the name. But they were personalised to create an angle on fashion. It was very clever how they created it.




They were re-invented by the famous british fashion designer Alexandre McQueen.

As i havn't wriiten a blogging thing yet i shall start now.

It has come to my attention that Harry Potter and Twilight seem to be the biggest craze. Twilight has been handled a bit too much recently so I thought that it would mix Harry Potter with Stardoll.
Today on the monday 11th of January, me and my co-hosts were brought together in the Library (with our librarian eye-balling us like a pigeon). We discussed what to do about this big idea of ours. I dont think creating the characters was very original so we decided to write a letter to the manager of stardoll to ask them to create the clothing of Harry Potter. This would include the invisability cloak which we are dying to make.
We havn't written the letter yet but we will.

Dirty Pretty Things - Beauty

Clothing fashions morph month by month, and look completely different after seven of eight months, but make-up fashions change quickly and often, and the click of a finger. One day you are in, the next, you are out.

What's shunted it's way onto the catwalk's recently, is pretty goth. Goth, at this time of year? Oh, yes. The dark side of make-up has emerged onto the catwalk's this season, with white powdered faces, blood red lips, black liquid liner and lots of mascara. I tried recreating a look I saw on the Vogue website using my Medoll. The entire look cost $21, but most of the make-up I used are things you will find in most Superstar's Medoll editors.

For my look I used:

• Lengthening Mascara $2
  
• Volumizing Mascara $3

In The Net review

Hello there, this is Megan (meganp969 on Stardoll) doing a review on the new 'In The Net' collection on Stardoll. This collection includes both furniture for your suite and clothes for you MeDoll. The 'In the Net' collection is from Rodarte's Spring 2010 collection. The reason I know that has a funny story behind it. I happened to buy the February ELLE today and enclosed with ELLE came a special feature which had direct images from the catwalk, showing clothes that I recognised from Stardoll. They happened to be Rodarte's new Spring 2010 collection. You can watch the catwalk show on the Rodarte website, under 'Videos' and then 'Spring 1010'.

Personally, I think the collection (both on the catwalk and on Stardoll) is a twisted gothic glamour. It screams 'Goth' in a glamorous fashion. I haven't bought any of the new 'In the Net' collection, but don't let that affect your opinion. I think the dress pictured above is my personal favourite from the Rodarte Spring collection, but your opinion may vary.

January Hot Buys review.

What can I say? What a way to start the year. Stardoll have truly outdone themselves. I love almost all of these hotbuys.

The Silver dress - Personally, I'm not that keen on the one shoulder strap idea, but the wet-look affect really works on this cut, pulling the piece together. The colour is neutral, meaning it will fit together with most garments. People with darker skin will be able to pull this of the best, becuase it will bring out the silver. This is one of my favorites :)

The Wrap - I'm not such a big fan of wraps on the whole, and this one is almost an acception. Almost. I didn't this these were really in right now, but clearly stardoll are trying to make a statement. I think if it covered the shoulders, I'd like it more, but it doesn't, so it's a bit disappointing.

The Top - This is a nice, casual tee. It's quite simple and probably wouldn't be seen down a runway, but I like it. It's a nice cut, V-necks being my favourite, making you neck seem longer and would great for going out on the town.

The Cardigan - Definitely on the short list. This is very designer, the clashing flower on the breast, very retro. The belt will make you waist look smaller, and the 6/8 sleeves will make your arms seem slender-er. However, I think this is a bit too Spring to be appearing in January.

The Bracelet - Gorgeous. I love the fact it's silver, very sleek, very stylish.Because this reviews a little bit late, I've seen it in the shops - this versions better.

The Coat - I'd bet you any celebrity would wear this. The detail and embroidery give the coat a texture, adding key elements to the beautiful coral blue. The fact that it's quite long will be a plus for taller people, making legs appear longer, but may make shorter people look slightly dumpy.

The Dress - like the top, it's a bit more casual. Unlike the coat, this will suit shorter people more, because the pulled in waist will make you legs look longer. The print on the skirt is really pretty, in my opinion, and will definitely make a statement in any town center.

The Tights - Are really nice. The Black and Gold contrast beautifully and will make plain dresses look intresting. Gold shorts would also work.

The Bag - It's very Christmasy, but Christmas has been and gone. I'd like it if it was a clutch, or maybe even a shoulder bag, but not a hand bag. I don't like the style, and the white and gold is a bit trashy.

The Shoes - If I was a pair of shoes, I would marry this pair of shoes. The Silver:Gold trend is great, and this is just the cherry on top. I love peep toes, and they would go well with or without tights.

I would like to say here that these our just my opinions, and don't take then to heart if my opinion clashes with your yours. If you like it - go for it.
