March Hotbuys Review

Abbey Dawn Top

This months hotbuys are a bit edgey and daring; Rough edges, studs and buckles, fur a lace. Every single thing tells it's own story and will suit very different people - This T-Shirt being no exception. I love the inky runs, the smudged and splattered print. The basic cut makes this top a must. Going with jeans, leggings or thingh length boots - This top can be a casual comfy or a high end master piece - you decide.

Necklace

The thing about the fashion industry is there is always a new trend which is made by a spark by one daring designer. This necklace could be a hit by next month, I can see Chanel making a copy of it by June. The turquoise blue will show case shiny grey eyes and the short chain means it will go with any evening dress.

Headband

I don't know if it's just my computer, but I can't seem to work out when this will be released and where. However, this is probably one of my favourite pieces. Did anyone else think Staute of liberty when they first saw it? It's new, it's daring, it's a statement. It's very runway and if the ledgend was still alive, I can see Alexander Mcqueen making something just like - it's so his style, with a touch of 80's.

Dress (Folk)

This kimono is just the cutest thing since peep toe shoes. It's very ethnic, but very glamourous at the same time. I love the fact that there's only a splash on print running diagonally down the dress, keeping it sophisticated, an over powering print making it look childinsh.

Vest

Oh my god. This funky vest is a treat for the eye. I love the fact it's rock chick, but still vest chic. Megan was talking about dying her her that colour yesterday. It's a great colour! However, I'm not sure about the belt - maybe a more embelished belt would have worked better. How does gold sound?

Ruffle Top

I swear, this months hotbuys are AMAZING. Even though Pretty in Pink is quite a girly brand, if you put this with the right clothing you wouldn't be able to tell that it wasn't Fallen Angel. It's black and white, the two most famous colours in fashion history. This top is almost the oposite to the Abbey Dawn Top, it's got a simple print, but a complicated cut. :D

Tights

These would go perfectly with the Abbey Dawn Top. They're are skinny (I'm not sure if Skinny's are in or out of fashion, they keep slipping from side to side) a cut the only really works for slimer people, and they are rough and gothic. They fit in perfectly with Evil Panda. and would look really good in a black and white themed look.

Sequin Dress

Mmmmm. Not really me. I was a little shocked to see this because it completely broke the trend. I know I said everything was different, but in the same way. It's a bit glitzy, something this season has drawn away from a bit. If it was, say, a midnight purple with chunky straps I would so buy it.

Shoes

:O Why aren't they in Fallen Angel? Bisou would never make anything like that!

Anyway, I like these shoes. They are AMAZING (I think I said that about something else, but still) They are punk - with heels! :D. These would go with quite a dark outfit, but not too heavy because then it would be a bit overloaded. (Maybe a white tank top, skinny jeans and big belt)

Blouse

Ewwwww, when did Bisou turn into an old granny shop? It's horrible with an unappealing flumpy feel about it. The bows alright but the colour is dreadful - Block pink really isn't in.

Chain

Mah. I could live without it. I like the simple and plain side of it, but the heavy goth appeal isn't really my thing. Make sure you wear it with the right clothing.

Done :D

Do you like the blouse? Do you think the shoes are tacky? Tell us. Comment.
